Green Feather Software is an Atlanta, GA based seed round startup building products that improve digital commerce in healthcare.

This role reports to the VP of Customer Acquisition, and will be responsible for acquiring new customers and driving revenue growth for our software products. This person will be responsible for executing a sales process and achieving sales goals. This person will also play a key role in coordinating with Marketing and Product to develop and improve our value proposition and prospective customer targeting. 

This is a rare opportunity to be part of building a company from the ground up with an amazing team of people in an empowering, results-oriented culture. This mostly-remote position is located in Atlanta, GA. 

Key responsibilities include 

  • Building, owning and executing the closure of profitable new customer revenue 
  • Building and refining the sales processes and value proposition 
  • Partnering with Marketing and Product to better target, engage, and close new customers 

REQUIREMENTS 

What you’ve done 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university 
  • 2+ years of experience in a direct sales role 
  • SaaS, startup or healthcare industry experience a plus 
  • Experience in marketing, management consulting or product management is a plus 
  • A track record of exemplary achievement in an academic or professional setting

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

Ability to execute a sales process. This person has shown an ability to execute a robust sales process, from intro calls through to close. They can handle senior level stakeholders confidently, identify unmet needs, compellingly communicate a value proposition, and negotiate and close deals. This person knows the value of team selling and when/how to pull in technical and commercial resources effectively. This person is comfortable with ~4-12 week sales cycles. 

Evidence of ability to execute a sales process include: 

  • Experience in enterprise or mid-level technology sales roles 
  • Experience in marketing or business development 
  • Quantified success in driving revenue through new client acquisition 

Entrepreneurial spirit. As a startup, we know that we don’t have our sales process fully figured out. This person will be someone who will enjoy building a function as well as running a sales process. They will view the uncertainty around the product and process as a source of excitement, not frustration and will constantly be looking for ways to improve what we say, who we say it to, and how we say it. 

Evidence of entrepreneurial spirit include: 

  • Problem oriented work experience/process improvement (e.g., I had to think through things, not just “do” them) 
  • Experience selling at a startup or a new product 
  • Long term desire outside of an individual contributor role (to be an entrepreneur, a GM, or a sales manager) 

Business acumen. This person will be able to quickly understand how our products work and map them onto potential customer needs. They need to quickly be able to connect dots and communicate them in a compelling way. 

Evidence of business acumen include: 

  • Work experience in marketing, branding, or selling a complex product 
  • Experience working with many different people or a diversity of functions

Green Feather Software is an Atlanta, GA based seed round startup building products that improve digital commerce in healthcare. We are looking for an Associate Business Analyst to help us define and build great products. Reporting to the Director of Product, this is a ground floor opportunity to make a massive impact while working alongside a collaborative, capable and entrepreneurial team. Your fingerprints will be all over a business, products and culture you believe in. You will learn and contribute meaningfully through that journey. 

The Associate Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding and defining end-customer needs, translating those into product requirements, review and feedback of requirements to/from the engineering team, supporting quality assurance and managing internal stakeholders throughout the product life cycle. 

The ideal candidate is highly detail and process oriented, results-driven, an excellent communicator, has a builder’s mindset and is able to balance stakeholders to achieve outcomes while thriving in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous startup environment. This mostly-remote position is located in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities 

  • Gather and document detailed requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, research, requirements workshops, surveys, use cases and scenarios
  • Communicate clearly defined and achievable product goals to Engineering, negotiating trade-offs and adjusting scope as needed to hit major milestones
  • Work collaboratively and across functions to plan and conduct quality assurance testing
  • Work with the Director of Product to ensure that user stories are developed, tested, completed, and deployed within the software development life cycle
  • Maintain the product backlog, working with key stakeholders to understand business needs, level of effort and risk for each item

     

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technological Management, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1 – 2 years work experience or related internship experience preferred, but not required
  • Detail oriented with a strong ability to break down complex topics into smaller parts for a range of audiences
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to improve by having a willingness to learn and lead
  • Tech savvy, able to pick up software development principles quickly
  • Experience working in a SCRUM / Agile environment a plus
  • Experience in developing process flows and maps a plus
  • Experience with React, SQL, Java, CSS, HTML and API frameworks a plus
